I too need to replace the cutlass bearing on my 1991 35S too. If I understand the information in this thread, the recommended solution is to remove the propeller, disconnect the shaft at the gearbox, pull the propeller shaft out the back and cut it in sections to fully remove it. Then with it out, you can remove the cutlass bearing easily. Then install the new propeller shaft, when it is in, install the new cutlass bearing, and then connect at the gearbox, and reinstall the propeller.
So here's my question. Where do you get a new propeller shaft and cutlass bearing? Are these standard parts that you can order? Are they standard measurement, etc?
