Contest 41 from 1989: Type of gas oven
« on: 26 April, 2019, 14:31:05 »
Hi and goedendag,

Hope it´s fine for you that I write in English.

Currently I am within a gas inspection for my Contest 41 ketch from 1989 (on volunteer basis).

It occured that the HISWA gas inspector would like to renew a certain part of my gas oven. To order the correct spare part he would like to know the exact model/type of my gas oven. Unfortunately I am not able to identify this completely. Does someone has an idea on that? Maybe also based on the attached photos?

Bij voorbaat dank voor uw steun,
Dirk

Hello Dirk,

Have you find out what brand the oven is?
I wish to build an oven aboard a Contest 34 and from the looks of it, the type you have on board would fit.
It is not that I would use the oven a lot. Normally I sail solo or with some friends, seldom for more then a weekend, but an oven is pratical thing onboard. If only for baked bread in the morning.
Hope you are able to give me an answer.

For the C34 you may choose the "ENO-Oven"
See www.dekkerwatersport.nl
It will probably perfect fit!

Twee pits RVS kooktoestel met oven. Oven capaciteit 1,8kw met een inhoud van 25ltr. Afmetingen 466 x 504 x 410mm. Inbouwafmetingen 523 x 530 x 548mm H x B x D. De branders werken op 30mbar druk.
