Cleaning head cloth lining.
« on: 16 January, 2016, 13:18:20 »
Hi Guys,
I have a Contest 44, 18 years old.  The head cloth lining throughout the boat has various stains and dirty marks; can anyone advise of a good cleaning agent?  The material is like a faux suede cream colour.  Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Paul,

I clean this using normal household stuff, multiple applications might do the trick. If I have severe staining I use some spray-on stuff to loosen up the dirt before.

Maybe you could bring it to a car cleaning shop. If they can clean the interior of your car they also could do the trick on your stuff.
