Construction Teakdeck
« on: 29 May, 2020, 10:54:19 »
Hi,

my first question:
On my 36S I still do have probably the first Teak Deck.
When purchasing the Yacht, I considered it has to be overhauled - still in my mind but so far not into the first budget... ;)
Now I received a hint that the deck might be glued AND screwd.
The answer from Conyplex was
"yes, it MIGHT be..."
My Contest was built in 1991.
May be, one of You did the job already and can give me details.
Background for my question is:
If the deck is glued, I may grind it flat one more time without redoing all screws and change the others with special screws I got from a Dutch yacht-craftsman.

Thanks for Your experience and answers.
May be I can push the decision between teak and artificial teak for another year or so.

Regards
Hannrs
